EXAMPLE · BOOKING CONFIRMEDYou’re booked, Sam. See you Tuesday.
For the people who make the working day happen.
There’s a business in bringing people together

A client needs cover.
A good worker is available.
You make the connection.

Flex helps you turn those connections into a staffing marketplace you can run as your own business.

Clients bring the work. Workers bring their skills and availability. Your team sets the rules, keeps an eye on delivery and steps in when someone needs help.

The platform carries the details between them: the role, the offer, the booking, the hours and the payment process. Revvalo CRM keeps the people and relationships behind that work in view.

Think of the convenience of an Uber-style marketplace, shaped around flexible staffing: relevant opportunities, simple responses and a clear view of what happens next.

A better day, on every side

Make it easy to work
with each other.

Your marketplace has to work for the person filling the shift, the person taking it and the team bringing them together.

For your clients

I need someone I can count on.

A client can set out the work they need covered and follow it through booking, attendance and approval. Your team keeps the account context, so the next request starts with a relationship already in place.

  • Define the role, site, time and number of people needed.
  • See whether the work is still open, requested or confirmed.
  • Review the time worked and move it into the agreed billing process.
For your workers

Show me work that fits my life.

Workers can keep their availability current, receive relevant offers and respond from the channels they use. Once confirmed, the assignment and next steps stay with them through the working day.

  • See where the work is, when it starts and the offered rate.
  • Accept or decline, and see when a booking is confirmed.
  • Check in, submit time and open connected worker records.
For your team

Let me focus on the people who need me.

The staffing desk has a shared picture of demand and delivery. Coordinators can work on an unanswered offer, a booking that needs a decision or an attendance issue, with the relevant client and worker context close by.

  • Manage the worker pools and the order you approach them.
  • Keep booking and approval decisions with the right person.
  • Follow work into timesheets, payment status and repeat business.
Follow the work

One shift.
All the details that matter.

Imagine a familiar client needs two skilled people for tomorrow. Here’s how Flex helps your team carry that request through to completed work.

Follow Sam’s booking below. These illustrative screens use example people, messages and rates to show how Flex works.

01 / THE REQUEST

“We need two people for tomorrow.”

A good booking starts with everyone knowing the details.

Your client needs cover at Riverside Site. The desk records the role, location, hours, headcount and rate in Revvalo, along with the skills and checks the job needs.

Release the work into Flex and those details go with it. If the shift changes or is cancelled, the connected offer changes too.

Set it out once. Give the client, coordinator and worker the same starting point.

02 / THE MATCH

“Who’s available?
Who knows this site?”

There’s more to a good match than being nearby.

Flex can consider skills, availability, travel distance, credentials, reliability and previous work. Your team sees useful reasons to approach someone.

For construction, your pool rules can start with people who know the site, then people you’ve worked with before, then the wider network. Healthcare has its own staffing pools and readiness requirements.

Start with the relationship. Use the matching information alongside your team’s judgment.

03 / THE CONVERSATION

“Hi Sam.
Does tomorrow work?”

Put a clear opportunity in someone’s hand.

Offers can reach workers in the app, by push notification or through configured WhatsApp and SMS channels. The place, hours and rate arrive together, with a simple way to respond.

Delivery follows the worker’s channel choices and quiet hours. Seen and delivery updates help the desk understand whether the message reached them.

If the desk needs to approve the worker, accepting sends a request. The place is booked only when the confirmation comes back from Revvalo.

Try Sam’s offer. Accept it, then see the confirmation from the desk.

04 / THE WORKING DAY

“I’m here.
Ready to get started.”

A little visibility makes everyone’s morning easier.

Sam opens the confirmed shift and checks in. Live shift, attendance and permitted location updates help the business see how the day is going.

A construction site can use location and a site QR code, or foreman confirmation. Healthcare uses supervisor confirmation. Where someone else must approve attendance, a worker cannot approve it on their behalf.

Patchy signal? Supported attendance actions can wait for the connection to return. They stay pending until confirmed.

05 / THE FOLLOW-THROUGH

“Here are my hours.
What happens next?”

Finish the job with a clear approval and payment process.

Sam submits the timesheet. The authorised team reviews it in Revvalo, and the approved outcome is shared with Flex.

Invoice-based work moves into your agreed invoicing or payroll process. Eligible direct bookings can use funds set aside in escrow and transfers through Stripe Connect once time is approved.

Keep the stages clear. Approved time, released funds and payment received are separate milestones.

06 / THE NEXT OPPORTUNITY

“Can we have Sam
back next week?”

Good work is a reason to work together again.

Previous bookings, completed shifts and worker history help the desk find people the client already knows. Rebooking tools make it easier to start the next request.

Approved feedback can contribute to the linked worker’s rating summary. The CRM holds the client relationship and commercial context for the next conversation.

The next call starts further along. Your team knows the people and the work that brought them together.

A new booking still needs current availability, terms and confirmation.

Work is personal. The experience should feel that way.
A worker is more than an available slot

A little more clarity.
A little more choice.

Good flexible work has to fit around a real life. Give workers a clear view of the opportunity and a straightforward way to stay in touch.

01 /

Keep availability useful

Workers can keep availability current and access the connected calendar. Your team has a better starting point for the next offer.

02 /

Respect how people want to hear from you

Workers can choose whether to receive WhatsApp offers, set quiet hours and decide if they want urgent opportunities to reach them.

03 /

Keep the paperwork close to the work

Workers can open their connected documents and checks, onboarding, availability and timesheets from Flex. Time-off and payslip views can also be included when those services are enabled for your workspace.

Flex + Revvalo CRM

One relationship.
From the first hello
to the next booking.

Your sales team knows the client. Your staffing team knows the work. Your workers know what it takes to deliver. Connect those perspectives so the next person can pick up the story.

The relationship and the work, in one connected story. Enabled records and events depend on your workspace setup.

THE PEOPLE

Keep the right records together.

Link the marketplace business to its CRM company and the worker profile to its contact. Account details, people and commercial history give your team context for the work.

Your coordinator can connect a new requirement to a client relationship already in the CRM.

THE BOOKING

Let the desk and the app do their part.

In the connected staffing workflow, Revvalo manages requirements, offers and assignment decisions. Flex delivers the opportunity, takes the worker’s response and shows the confirmed outcome.

A worker taps accept. The desk’s booking rules determine whether the place is confirmed or still needs a decision.

THE DELIVERY

Bring the working day back into view.

Supported attendance, shift and timesheet updates connect the work being done with the records the office team uses. Payment outcomes add the financial follow-through.

The team can distinguish completed work, approved time and a payment issue that needs attention.

THE NEXT CONVERSATION

Keep building on what you know.

Use the client relationship, work history and linked worker information when planning the next booking or reviewing an account. Your CRM remains the place for sales activity and ongoing account care.

The next conversation starts with useful context from the work already delivered.

We configure the connection around your workspace, sector and supported workflows, including which system manages each record and approval.

Your experience. Your business.

You bring the knowledge.
Flex helps put it to work.

Build around the market you understand, the clients who trust you and the workers you want to keep coming back.

Your community

Decide who gets the opportunity.

Connect your worker network and decide which pools hear about work first. Start with familiar people or an internal bank, then widen the search according to your sector’s rules.

Your standards

Be clear about what good looks like.

Use the relevant roles, credentials, site requirements and attendance checks. Decide where a human needs to approve the booking or confirm the work.

Your economics

Give the business a model that fits.

Agree worker rates, client charges, fees and billing responsibilities. Set up the invoicing or payment process that suits the type of work you’re arranging.

Your identity

Make the experience yours.

Put your staffing knowledge at the centre of the experience. We can scope additional branding, custom domains, sector-specific work or a separately branded app as part of your marketplace project.

Let’s start with something real

Bring one client.
One kind of work.
One clear ambition.

A useful first conversation starts with your business. Who do you serve? Who does the work? Where does the process get difficult today?

  1. Map your working day

Walk through a real request, the people involved, your booking decisions and how the work gets paid.

  2. Connect the pieces

Prepare CRM records and worker profiles, choose your sector configuration and set up the communication and payment services you need.

  3. Follow a booking all the way through

Pilot the journey from offer to attendance, approval and financial reconciliation. Learn from the people using it before expanding the network.

A few things you might be wondering

Let’s make it clear.

Can we create a custom marketplace?

Yes—Flex provides the staffing marketplace foundation, with supported configuration for worker pools, sector workflows, booking decisions and commercial arrangements. We agree the scope with you. Bespoke branding, custom domains, additional sector features and a separately branded app are project work to scope together.

How is this different from a list of available workers?

Flex follows the work after the search: offers and responses, booking confirmation, attendance evidence, timesheets and the payment or invoicing process. The CRM connection keeps those activities tied to the client and worker relationships.

Do workers need to keep checking another app?

The app gives workers a place for their assignments and actions, while configured push, WhatsApp and SMS channels help offers reach them. WhatsApp participation and quiet hours are worker choices. Connected worker screens can open relevant Revvalo records through the Flex experience; exact availability depends on the workspace setup.

Does accepting an offer mean the worker is booked?

The booking rules decide. If the desk needs to choose or approve the worker, Flex shows their response as a request awaiting confirmation. A confirmed assignment is shown once that decision is made.

How much of this connects to our CRM?

Client and worker records, supported job and shift activity, timesheet outcomes and payment events connect the marketplace to Revvalo. In the connected staffing workflow, Revvalo manages requirements, booking decisions and approvals while Flex handles offers and worker actions. We confirm the enabled scope when setting up your workspace.

How do workers get paid?

That depends on the type of work and how you engage the worker. Invoice-based work follows your agreed invoicing or payroll process. Eligible direct bookings can use funds set aside in escrow, with transfers through Stripe Connect. We agree funding, fees and payment services before launch, alongside the separate payroll and tax arrangements your business needs.

What happens when someone loses their connection?

Live updates depend on connectivity and device permissions. Eligible attendance actions can be queued and retried, with pending and confirmed results kept distinct. Offers and booking decisions still need a confirmed response, so an offline action is not presented as a completed booking.

Your people. Your next chapter.

You’ve built the relationships.
Let’s build what comes next.

Bring your staffing knowledge, your worker network and the market you believe in. We’ll explore how Flex and Revvalo can help you turn that into a business people want to work with.
